Rawhides — While rawhides are a popular choice, they can be dangerous. Some pets try to swallow them when they soften, posing a choking hazard or causing a blockage in the digestive system. Plus, rawhides are often chemically processed, which can be harmful over time.

VOHC-Approved Chews — The Veterinary Oral Health Council (VOHC) approves chews that help reduce plaque and tartar buildup. Look for the VOHC seal to find toys that not only entertain your pet but also support their dental health.
